WHAT ABOUT NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOMES?

Newly constructed or reconstructed homes should have the air ducts cleaned before the ventilation system is even turned on.  It’s very important to know, that the fine white powder that’s left over from sanding dry wall is very abrasive and will not only scratch furniture but can even burn out the blower motor in the furnace.  However, unlike allergens and other pollutants, once construction dust and debris is removed, it’s gone for good, but if left in your ventilation system it will keep releasing itself into your air like a never ending time capsule.
