WHAT IS AIR DUCT CLEANING?

Air Duct Cleaning, as defined by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), is the mechanical cleaning or physical removal of debris and other foreign matter from the Air Conveyance System. Debris is defined as, any solid  materials, including particulate substances, in the Air Conveyance System not intended to be present. In simpler language,  air duct cleaning is the complete removal of all loose material such as dirt, dust, hair, drywall dust, allergens, microbials, dead animals, toys and anything else that shouldn’t be there.

It is very important to know, that when having your air ducts cleaned, every square foot of the entire ventilation system must be snaked out or agitated by a piece of equipment or the job wasn’t done right.  This includes the entire return and supply sides of the system along with the blower motor and  all the vent covers, removed and cleaned.

In the air duct cleaning industry there is no such thing as Good-Better-Best, there is only right or wrong.  Here at Ventcorp we often tell our customers that it’s better not to get your air ducts cleaned at all unless the whole system is going to be cleaned 98%
correct, as we guarantee.
